Disaster Mitigation & Recovery Services, Inc. (DMRS) is a Florida-based corporation formed in 2018 with the primary objective of assisting federal government, state, and local agencies and municipalities in dealing with natural and man-made disasters.

Originally formed in 2009 as Hazard Mitigation & Recovery Services, DMRS has the expertise, knowledge, & experience to provide pre-disaster planning and assistance, training, and the ability to jump in during disaster periods and assist our clients with any on-going disasters and recovery.

One of our main objectives and goals is to provide our clients with Pre-Disaster Planning. DMRS staff help our clients prepare and put logistical protocols in place, prior to any disaster.

Both Natural and man made Disasters and related hazards are becoming all too common in the daily lives of so many communities. The difference in the outcome or the extent of damages, in most cases, depends on the level of preparedness. Government agencies, and communities can take steps to mitigate and reduce the impact of disasters.

FEMA’s hazard mitigation assistance provides some funding for eligible mitigation measures that helps reduce disaster damage and associated losses.
